The small planet Pluto is denied major planet status by an authority; the authority sends an official (a professional singer, bass) to Pluto to announce this decision to the inhabitants of Pluto. He is instructed to switch off the lighting and gravity on the planet. The Plutonians are horrified and send a call for help to Earth. The distress signal is received by the astronaut. The astronaut assembles a massive crew and flies to Pluto. There, together with the inhabitants of the planet, they defeat the official and restore Pluto to its original state.
