Description
The Little Suite for piano comprises six small movements. They are linked by a story: it is a journey through a musical landscape in a train.
The score contain small texts and drawings created by the composer herself. In an entertaining way, the sound passengers and music travelers encounter strange and funny creatures from the realm of music theory!
The train driver is called: Pure minor. The train runs along the banks of the river ‚Courante‘. The four-voiced dragon Polyphon and others work at the marshalling yard.
At the end of the book there is a small glossary of musical terms with explanations and drawings.
Level of difficulty: from 10 years
For the performance, there is the additional option of using simple percussion (e.g. triangle, two small bells) – but this is not obligatory.
